Sound: Just have a look on the original construction! Power supply and power amplifier are inside the Speaker compartment! So Behringer is saving the cooling fan ;-) but you get a loss of free air volume and lots of acoustic wave reflections!
Solution: Kick out the old amp and power supply. At the same time improves the handling: 4kg less total weight!
Instead install SMPS 500W + Class D Amplifier (450W) inside housing, fan, switch (and cross over for tweeter), keep the instrument signal processing board
Sound: Install horizontal stiffener bar for improved sound and provide openings for tweeters
Handling: Install lateral handling bars for easy carrying. See venting grills.

Replace transformer -> Less weight
Replace Amplifier -> Less size + less heat
