M. L. Isch Friedman contacted Elmer Isch who said his father was William
and his mother Amelia Smith. There were 11 children of whom he was the only one
living in 1993 at the age of 70.
1920 census shows only 8, when parents were 40. Spacing shows some might have
died in infancy.
